Supplier qualification

Qualify suppliers against criteria you set, and keep the evidence

A checklist per category, a weighted score, a pass or fail on every criterion, and each certificate on file. Suppliers submit through the portal. You decide in one place.

Configured around your own suppliers. We reply within one working day.

Where qualification usually breaks

The spreadsheet says approved. Nobody can say why.

01

The evidence sits in inboxes

Certificates, insurance and financials arrive as attachments. Nobody can see what is on file, or what expires next.

02

One checklist for everyone

A packaging supplier and a chemicals supplier get the same questions, so the checklist is too light for one and too heavy for the other.

03

A yes with no reasoning

Months later, nobody can reconstruct why a supplier was approved, or when it should be reviewed again.

How it works

From first request to approved, in four steps

1

Build the checklist

Set the criteria for each supplier category. Weight every criterion and set its pass or fail threshold.

2

Collect the evidence

Request certifications, financials, insurance and references. Suppliers upload through the portal.

3

Score and decide

Each criterion is scored against its threshold. Gaps are flagged and the supplier is asked to resubmit.

4

Re-qualify on schedule

Set the review interval. Reminders go out ahead of it, so approvals do not quietly go stale.

Weighted scoring

A threshold on every criterion, not only on the total

A strong overall score can hide a missing certificate. Set a pass or fail threshold on each criterion as well as the weighted total, so a gap stays visible even when the average looks fine.

  • Weight each criterion differently per supplier category.
  • Status is tracked as in progress, approved or rejected.
  • Uploaded documents keep version control and expiry alerts.

Supplier self-qualification

Suppliers answer the checklist. You review the gaps.

The checklist runs in your branded supplier portal. Suppliers answer and upload there, so you stop retyping attachments from email.

  • Gaps in the evidence are identified for you.
  • The supplier is asked to resubmit through the same portal.
  • Re-qualification reminders go out on the schedule you set.
