Dynamics 365 add-on
Supplier performance management for Microsoft Dynamics 365
For Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management and Business Central. Keep Dynamics as the system of record; add EvaluationsHub where the people who work with suppliers rate them, suppliers see their scorecard, and corrective actions get closed.
Short answer: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management lets you set up vendor evaluation criteria and record ratings, and Power BI can rank vendors on delivery data. EvaluationsHub adds structured multi-stakeholder surveys, a supplier-facing scorecard, CAPA and QBRs, and fits into the Microsoft stack through Power Automate and Power BI.
The layer on Dynamics 365
What Dynamics 365 already does
Supply Chain Management. Microsoft documents vendor evaluation criteria groups that you link to procurement categories, with ratings entered per vendor. The Vendor collaboration module gives vendors access to purchase orders, invoices and consignment stock, and Power BI reports cover vendor performance and risk.
Business Central. Vendor rating is typically added with partner apps from the Microsoft ecosystem.
If manual criteria ratings by buyers are enough, you may not need more.
Where teams add EvaluationsHub
| Need | Dynamics 365 on its own | With EvaluationsHub | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ratings from quality, plants, projects | Entered by Dynamics users against criteria | Surveys sent to internal stakeholders | |
| Supplier sees their scorecard | Vendor collaboration covers POs and invoices | Supplier portal with scorecard and actions | |
| Corrective actions with evidence | Separate process or quality module | CAPA workflow linked to the score | |
| Risk, ESG and documents | Depends on add-ons | Included | |
| QBR preparation | Power BI and slides | Agenda built from the scorecard |
How it connects
- REST API: push supplier master data and transaction KPIs in, pull scores and action status out.
- Scheduled CSV import and export: the quickest start, no integration project needed.
- Integration platforms: Zapier, Make or Microsoft Power Automate, calling the same API.
- Reporting: Power BI on top of the scores, next to your ERP reports.
Which method fits depends on your landscape. We agree the data fields and the direction of each flow with your IT team during onboarding.
Because EvaluationsHub works with Microsoft 365 and Power Automate via the API, many Dynamics customers run the data flows on the platform they already have.
A typical rollout
- Week 1: suppliers in. Export the active supplier list from Dynamics 365 (or connect the API) and segment it: strategic, critical, tail.
- Week 2: methods. Pick an evaluation method per segment and invite the internal raters who actually work with each supplier.
- Week 3–4: first cycle. Run the first evaluation, publish scorecards to suppliers and open corrective actions where scores fall short.
- After that: connect. Add transaction KPIs from Dynamics 365 and send scores back so buyers see them where they already work.
Questions buyers ask
Is there a Dynamics 365 connector in AppSource?
No. We connect via the REST API, CSV, or Power Automate calling our API.
Does it work with Business Central?
Yes, with the same methods: CSV or API for vendors and transactions, scores back via API.
Can we keep Power BI as our reporting tool?
Yes. EvaluationsHub scores can be reported in Power BI next to your Dynamics data.
