Coupa add-on

Supplier performance management for Coupa customers

Keep Coupa for sourcing, contracts and procure-to-pay. Use EvaluationsHub as the layer where quality, operations and project teams rate suppliers, suppliers see their scorecard, and corrective actions get closed.

Short answer: Coupa Supplier Management already tracks supplier performance and collects feedback from users in the context of transactions. EvaluationsHub adds the cross-functional evaluation cycle, segment-specific methods, CAPA and supplier QBRs on top, and sends the results back.

Coupa keeps the transactions. EvaluationsHub adds the people, the judgement and the follow-up, and shares them with the teams and suppliers who act on them.

What Coupa already does well

Be fair to what you already own. According to Coupa, its Supplier Management offering covers supplier performance tracking and scorecards, gathers performance input from users in the context of transactions, and handles supplier onboarding and information through Supplier Information Management. Third-party risk is covered by its risk products.

If transactional feedback from buyers is enough for you, you may not need a separate layer.

Where teams add EvaluationsHub

Need Typical situation in Coupa-only setups With EvaluationsHub
Raters outside procurement (quality, plants, R&D) Not every rater is a Coupa user Internal stakeholders invited to rate, without a Coupa licence
Different methods per segment One scorecard approach for many suppliers Strategic, critical and tail suppliers evaluated differently
Corrective actions after a poor score Followed up by email or in a quality tool CAPA workflow with owners, deadlines and evidence
Supplier QBRs Slides built by hand Agenda and data from the scorecard

How it connects

  • REST API: push supplier master data and transaction KPIs in, pull scores and action status out.
  • Scheduled CSV import and export: the quickest start, no integration project needed.
  • Integration platforms: Zapier, Make or Microsoft Power Automate, calling the same API.
  • Reporting: Power BI on top of the scores, next to your ERP reports.

Which method fits depends on your landscape. We agree the data fields and the direction of each flow with your IT team during onboarding.

A typical rollout

  1. Week 1: suppliers in. Export the active supplier list from Coupa (or connect the API) and segment it: strategic, critical, tail.
  2. Week 2: methods. Pick an evaluation method per segment and invite the internal raters who actually work with each supplier.
  3. Week 3–4: first cycle. Run the first evaluation, publish scorecards to suppliers and open corrective actions where scores fall short.
  4. After that: connect. Add transaction KPIs from Coupa and send scores back so buyers see them where they already work.

Questions buyers ask

Is this a Coupa app or prebuilt connector?

No. We connect through the EvaluationsHub REST API, CSV exchange or an integration platform. Your Coupa admin or integration partner sets up the data flows with us.

Does it replace Coupa Supplier Management?

No. Coupa stays where suppliers are onboarded and paid. EvaluationsHub adds the evaluation and follow-up layer.

Can scores show up in Coupa?

Scores and action status can be exported via API or CSV so your team can bring them into Coupa or into reporting. How they are displayed in Coupa depends on your Coupa configuration.
